How Disney Changes the World

I believe that Disney World changes our world because it is a place just to celebrate being alive. No matter what is wrong, you can go to Disney world and have the time of your life. Disney World is not only for children, all ages are accepted and welcome. Disney World has some of the prettiest sights you will see, from Cinderella's Castle lit up on a perfect night, to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. I think this magical place needs to be remembered because it gives everyone a reason to be happy, because they are alive!

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom was the first park in Disney World. Personally, it is my favorite. Every night there is a parade filled with Disney characters and bright flashing lights! It feels like there is magic happening right in front of you. It is truly unreal. Another thing that the park does is fireworks. I recently saw the fireworks. They are amazing! It makes it even more exciting when they play the Disney theme song, "When You Wish Upon A Star," because it makes you feel like you are dreaming! Magic Kingdom isn't only the characters greeting you, there is tons of thrill rides! Two of my favorite include "The Haunted Mansion" and "Space Mountain."

The Creator: Walter Elias Disney

Walter Elias Disney created Disney Land and Disney World. He was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. Walt Disney not only created many famous characters, he also created Laugh-O-Gram Films! Walt Disney's greatest and most known character was Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse is in many children's television shows. One of the shows is the "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." It features Mickey and other characters Walt has created. These are the original characters that Walt Disney created. Above is a picture of the "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" characters.

My Recent Trip!

My recent trip to Disney World was in February of 2010. I went to Disney World for a field hockey tournament. As soon as I arrived in the sunshine state I fell in love with the place! I stayed in the All Star Music Resort in Orlando, Florida. Down below is a picture of the hotel area, with the big cow boy boots! Disney World is my favorite place in the world! I went to Magic Kingdom and had the time of my life, there was a parade with all the original Disney characters. There was really bright lights, I felt as if I was dreaming!

Basic Info on Disney!

Disney World is an resort and an amusement park all together in one. It includes many, many hotels, and plenty of parks. The parks are Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon. It was created by Walt Elias Disney in 1971. Disney is located in Orlando, Florida. Disney is fun for all ages and my favorite place in the world.
